Job Description
Persist Ventures is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to design and implement an end-to-end automation pipeline that generates and posts engaging 30–60 second reels/shorts. You’ll be working at the intersection of Generative AI, automation, and media workflows, building a system that can ideate, create, and distribute short-form video content with minimal human intervention.

- Architect and implement an automated pipeline for reel/short creation:
- Generate random, theme-based stories using LLMs.
- Produce character and setting visuals via image generation models.
- Stitch visuals into scenes and video clips.
- Combine clips into full reels/shorts.
- (Optional but preferable) Automate posting to social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok).
- Orchestrate workflows in Python with clear modular functions.
- Integrate APIs from leading AI models (LLM, image, video).
- Ensure the pipeline is reproducible, scalable, and easy to extend.
- Document the entire workflow clearly for handoff and iteration.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in AI/ML & Deep Learning.
- Hands-on with Generative AI (text, image, and/or video).
- Skilled in working with REST APIs & SDKs for AI models.
- Proficiency in Python with clean, modular code.
- Familiarity with media processing (image & video editing).
- Prior experience in workflow automation (Airflow, LangChain, LangGraph, Prefect, etc. a plus).
- Ability to write clear documentation and communicate technical concepts.
