If you are a 2025 batch M.E, M.Tech or M.Sc student looking to do a Software Engineering Internship at a world-renowned tech company, Qualcomm Internship 2026 brings you a great opportunity. Qualcomm has invited online applications for the Interim Engineering Intern – SW position. This is a 1-year, full-time internship that will give selected candidates the opportunity to work with Qualcomm’s experienced engineering team in Chennai.
During this internship, you will work on real-world projects in cutting-edge areas such as mobile chipsets, embedded systems, wireless technologies, multimedia, and IoT. Eligibility for Qualcomm Internship 2026
Only candidates pursuing an M.E., M.Tech., or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Communication Engineering, or a related field, or who have passed out from the 2025 batch, can apply for this internship. Candidates must be available for the full one-year internship.
Required Technical Skills
Qualcomm is looking for candidates with a strong command of C and C++ programming and an understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). They should also have basic knowledge of Operating System Concepts, Data Structures, Linux/UNIX Environment, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development, TCP/IP Networking, Network Protocols such as UDP, SIP, and RTP. Experience with CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE, Multimedia Processing, or Embedded Systems may be an added advantage.
Required Soft Skills
