Job Description

Responsibilities

•   Application of engineering principles to solve complex problems through sound and creative engineering. 
•   Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and project-related information. 
•   Swift learning and integration of new engineering methods into work processes. 
•   Seek feedback and apply internal or industry best practices to improve technical solutions. 
•   Demonstrate skill in time management and completion of software projects in a cooperative team environment. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

•   Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related IT technical discipline 
•   Proficiency in at least one object oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript) and a willingness to learn new languages as needed
•   Ability to demonstrate an understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms 
•   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively 
•   Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment 
•   Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work 

Preferred Qualifications:

•   Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) 
•   Familiarity with development tools (IDEs, debugging tools) and familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries 
•   Basic understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and modern JavaScript libraries 
•   Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development 
•   Experience with version control tools such as Git 
•   Knowledge of .NET Core and MSSQL is a nice-to-have 
•   Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies 
•   Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
•   Effective communication and collaboration skills
