Job Description
Sony Research India is hiring data science interns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with research scientists and other team members to contribute to new research work on foundational models, recommender systems and other areas.
- Recognize patterns and locate, analyze, and interpret data
- Code and test for the validity of new algorithms.
Work Location:
Remote/Bengaluru/Mumbai
Duration of the paid internship:

- The internship will be for 6 months starting May second week of 2025.
- The working hours are from 9:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday) full-time.
Essential Education:
- Master’s / Bachelor’s with relevant experience.
Skills required:
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience in python 3.x
- Good self driven experience and understanding of Deep Learning.
- Strong Experience in Pytorch/ Tensorflow and quick reproducibility of git repos.
- Experience in research and familiarity with reading research papers and quick implementations of the available repos.
Good to have Skills:
- Experience and deep understanding of LLM architectures and its research.
- Previous experience in Recommendation Systems.
- Ability to navigate through literature surveys for given research ideas swiftly.
