Job Description
GenC – Job description:
- Understand business requirements, raise clarifications, and create documents
- Develop, maintain, test, debug, and deploy code as per the requirement specifications
- Understand the data requirements and develop test scenarios
- Understand the Agile application development environment, deliverables due, and follow the SDLC
- Create low-level design for components
- Identify and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Proactively address issues and work on mitigating points of failure
- Take ownership to deliver on goals specified in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate as a member of the project team in meetings and technical sessions to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions
- Continuously upskill/reskill and cross-skill to scale up to new technologies
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Eligibility criteria
- 2024 & 2025 batch of specific B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M. Tech are eligible to apply (Streams such as Leather technology, Food technology, Fashion technology, etc. are excluded).
- Students should possess a consistent academic record with a minimum of 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (rounding off 59.9% is not allowed)
- At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 60% aggregate in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears
- Appropriate CGPA to % conversion to be considered as per university norms
- Students with standing arrears are NOT eligible.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location during a given shift, and technology is mandatory.
- Open to Indian nationals / OCIs who are currently residing in India.
- Students will get the communications only to the registered mail ID in Superset. It must be their personal mail ID and shall be considered as the primary email ID. This email ID should not be changed at any point during the hiring process or until Full Time Employment (FTE) onboarding.
