Job Description
We are looking to hire Automation Test Engineers who will help clients in the Banking and Trading application platform.
Work Location: Capco Bangalore – Sarjapur
Work Hours (Shift-based): 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM IST, 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST, 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST
Required Skills: SQL, Unix, Automation Testing, Selenium, Java/ Python

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand project requirements and test objectives
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts
- Perform manual and/or automated testing on various applications
- Log defects and track them to closure using bug tracking tools
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure high-quality releases
- Analyze test results and provide regular reports
- Learn and apply testing techniques, tools, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Good understanding of Java and/or Python programming
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and scripting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (Good to Have):
- Exposure to or understanding of automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC
