Job Description
HROne Off-campus Drive 2026. We’re hiring fresher Software Engineer Trainees to join our Platform Engineering team. This is a generalist software engineering role — you’ll be a coder first, and depending on team needs and your strengths, you’ll grow into one of two tracks:
- Customer Engineering: Implementing and configuring customer projects, building integrations, working on data modelling, and writing backend/API code to solve real customer requirements.
- SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test): Building automated test frameworks, writing test scripts, working on CI/CD quality gates, and creating API documentation and technical documentation for internal and external use.
Beyond these tracks, you’ll also get the chance to contribute directly to core product features — writing unit tests, integration tests, and shipping code alongside the rest of the platform team. This is designed to be a well-rounded software engineering role, not a narrow specialization — you won’t be boxed into one track from day one. We’re looking for engineers with strong fundamentals who can code, reason about systems, and pick up new tools quickly, and who we’ll place and mentor based on aptitude and interest.
This is a 6 months internship (15,000/month) + Full Time (based on performance) role (5 LPA).
