Job Description
You must be a quick learner, have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain ownership of large engineering projects through their lifecycle: architecture/design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and support. This position has unique opportunities for growth in both the functional and technical direction.
Responsibilities
- Join an Agile team coordinating with a Product manager, lead developer, and QA lead
- Create new product features for our global customers using test driven development
- Work on every level of the stack-frontend to backend, and everything in between
- Take end-to-end ownership of your part of the functionality
- Keep up to date on new technologies and share your knowledge
- Participate in the full development life cycle from definition and design to product delivery
Requirements
- BE or B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology
- Proven object-oriented programming skills with Java and/or C++ preferably
- Experience with one or more databases (Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL, Postgres)
- Strong knowledge of design patterns / data Structures
- Strong analytical abilities with debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in programming enterprise or web applications
- Knowledge of broader Java and JEE stack (e.g. JDBC, JMX, JPA, JMS)
- Exposure to messaging and streaming frameworks like Kafka is a huge plus
- Familiarity with concepts of security and secured coding is a huge plus
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and various Web UI frameworks
- App Server experience (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss)
- Experience with using REST APIs
- Open-source frameworks familiarity such as Spring, and Hibernate
- Ability to explore / contribute to Open-Source projects
- Working knowledge of AI-based tool sets for coding is a big plus
