Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer (Fresher) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with our development and operations teams to automate and streamline our software development lifecycle, from code commit to deployment and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the automation of our software build, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
- Help manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Collaborate with developers to ensure applications are built with scalability, reliability, and security in mind.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to the infrastructure and application stack.
- Learn and apply best practices in DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Contribute to the documentation of processes and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Basic knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
