Job Description
we’re building VEDIT – an AI-powered video editing platform that helps creators and businesses simplify content creation, editing, and publishing across multiple platforms. From AI chat assistants for brainstorming scripts to automated publishing with smart captions, we’re reimagining the future of video editing.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:

- Collaborate with founders and the core team to design, build, and scale VEDIT.
- Develop and maintain features such as multi-track timelines, AI auto-captioning, publishing automation, and voice cloning tools.
- Work with AI chatbots and automation workflows to integrate them seamlessly into the editing experience.
- Build a content scheduling and publishing system for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
- Ensure the platform is intuitive, reliable, and scalable for both creators and businesses.
- Participate in brainstorming and product roadmapping, helping shape the future of the platform.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with backend and/or full-stack development (Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Experience in video processing / editing frameworks (FFmpeg, WebRTC, or related).
- Familiarity with AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Whisper, ElevenLabs, etc.) for captions, scripts, or voice.
- Understanding of multi-track timelines, real-time rendering, and media handling.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for scaling media-heavy applications.
- Experience building automation workflows or scheduling tools is a plus.
- A startup mindset: resourceful, persistent, and ready to take ownership.
