Job Description
Zapare Off-campus Drive 2026 is hiring fresh graduates for the Software Quality Engineer Trainee role. The job involves software testing, finding and reporting bugs, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design clear, comprehensive test cases and scenarios
- Execute both manual and automated tests for web and/or mobile applications
- Create, update, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks
- Detect, log, and track defects, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up to closure
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product stability
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field (Mandatory).
- Basic understanding of software testing principles, including SDLC and STLC
- Hands-on exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Understanding of test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest
- Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and suggest solutions
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
