Meet The Team
Cisco Off-campus Drive 2026 Wireless Feature & System Engineering team builds end-to-end wireless capabilities across access points, controllers, and cloud-managed platforms. We design features that span device software, control planes, and management systems to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance enterprise Wi-Fi.
Your Impact
As a Full-Stack Wireless Software Engineer, you will contribute to building and validating wireless features across the stack—from access points to controllers and management systems. This is a full development and test role, where you will own features from implementation through validation and automation.
In this role:
- Develop and integrate wireless features across AP, controller, and management layers
- Write and maintain software in C/C++ and scripting languages (Python)
- Design and execute test plans, and develop automation for feature validation
- Analyze logs, packet traces, and system behavior to debug issues
- Reproduce issues and validate fixes across system components
- Set up and use lab environments for testing wireless scenarios
- Collaborate with platform, radio, QA, and cloud teams
Minimum Qualification
- MS + 0-2 years or BS + 1-3 years of experience
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and Wi-Fi (802.11 basics)
- Experience or strong interest in testing, automation, and system validation
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
Preferred Qualification
- Exposure to wireless controllers or cloud-managed networking systems
- Experience with tools like Wireshark
- Familiarity with WPA2/WPA3 security
